- Create a new song. Add the Rebirth MIDI machine and set the correct MIDI device like said above. Connect the machine to the master.
Don't forget to make Rebirth ready for MIDI sync (Edit->Preferences)
- Add a machine with a short kicking sound (e.g. the 808 with bassdrum used, or Trilok)
- Create a pattern for the Rebirth MIDI machine. At the first column you can enter a command (start/cont/song pos).
Enter "0" here (MIDI Start). This will cause the machine to send a MIDI Start when this row is played. Rebirth will start playing from the
beginning of the song when it is receiving a MIDI Start.
- Create a pattern with a simple 4/4 basskick for the other machine.
- On Rebirth create a simple pattern with a bassdrum too.
- Go to Buzz' song sequencer and add both machines to the song.
- Now Play your song.
After a short mess you should hear Rebirth and Buzz run syncronous. If the bass kicks are not tight you
can try to change the "Adjust sync" value in Rebirth. The size of Rebirth's play ahead buffer is also
affecting the MIDI timing.
